Hospital Rigth of Isar, Munich

The urban site of the clinic is enhanced by the insertion of the new ward block. The building's othogonal insertation to the Isar-Auen allows for the green and airflows to wind through the hospital premises. The green gardens are used by physicaltherapy patients.

The patient rooms have large cornered windows with folding and fixed louvres. By fully open windows in summer, the resulting balconies offer still sufficient privacy but maximum views to the patient gardens.
